I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend and got to spend some time with your families. Vaccination numbers are steadily rising and the end of the pandemic is in sight.
Chia saw another incredible growth week and the 2900th unique address is about to win their first 2 XCH from block rewards. The Monday morning net space grew 29.4% from last week’s 163 PiB to 211 PiB. Week 1 saw about 28% growth, so it is relatively steady at 17 days post-mainnet. Total node count estimates are harder to measure but Chia Explorer has 9,600 full nodes connected in the last 5 days. Once transactions unlock and we have price discovery through the exchanges, we expect this number grow significantly.
Still no formal announcements on which exchanges will support XCH. It is our understanding that both Chia and the exchanges sign an NDA and this information will be available when the exchanges make an announcement. If you want to see XCH available on your favorite exchange, ping them on social media and let them know the demand is there.
The Reddit and Keybase community also have huge growth numbers. Lots of new members are bringing questions daily and the community is doing a great job at handling the influx of requests (even if I get a testy on Reddit sometimes :) )

https://github.com/martomi/chiadog “A watch dog providing a piece in mind that your Chia farm is running smoothly 24/7.” It performs various condition checks and if any of them are violated, sends a notification directly to your phone (via Pushover integration). I haven’t added chiadog personally but the Github page is all under the MIT Open License and the code is all available to comb over. It was created by @martomi on Keybase and he’s been answering questions all weekend.
